This is me,

Sara Isabel Magalhães.

— over 15 years of experience

I am at Science and Projects Management at the ProChild CoLAB, where I use my skills in project management and team integration to leverage initiatives that promote children's rights. My collaborative style and focus on qualified training reflect my commitment to empowering communities to drive change.
I hold a degree and a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Minho, in Portugal, and I've built a career dedicated to research and gender equality.
I have over fifteen years of experience, mainly at the Center of Psychology at the University of Porto | Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto. There, I've worked on the multiple dimensions of aging through the lenses of feminist studies, critical social psychology, and intersectionality theory.
I have collaborated on and co-coordinated several funded research projects (European Commission Horizon2020 SwaftS; EEA GRANTS/FSE/CIG; POPH/QREN/FSE/CIG; POISE/CIG; FCT).
I am also a specialist recognized by the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality and an activist: I collaborate with NGOs to reinforce my role as an agent of change in society.
